Elmo 02 is the symbol of an era in which portable writing instruments were fighting for their diffusion.
Resourcefulness and creativity were required to satisfy the tastes and budgets of those times.
The typical decorations of the time are well represented by the slightly conical end; the shaped junction with a “ski-jump” effect (ski jumping trampoline).
The sash-style brass clip recounts the panache of the 1920s - and refers to the style of the first art deco.
