The long-awaited sequel to our 2019 Moon Landing Anniversary series is the NASA Atlantis Regular Edition,
ready for take-off at the end of January 2022.

After the high stakes of the 1960s space race, NASA's second iconic era has focused on its Space Transportation System (STS) vehicle fleet.
Better known as the Space Shuttle, this revolutionary reusable spacecraft flew 135 missions between 1981 and 2011, capturing the imaginations of millions of people in the years leading up to the end of the Cold War.
To celebrate the reign of the Space Shuttle, we chose a design that harks back to the optimism of the early 90s and NASA iconography coveted by fans and collectors.
In 1992 the Atlantis spacecraft took the first Italian into space. 1992 was also the year NASA retired its much-loved "Worm" logo, featured on the NASA Atlantis red enamel fill cap.
Our resin / steel design uses NASA's futuristic-minimalist style, using the color system established by the agency's legendary 1976 Graphic Standards Manual.

Graphics reproducing the launch and launch pad of the Shuttle are engraved with high precision on the small parts of this handcrafted model.
The shuttle take-off graphics are also embossed on the customized packaging.

NASA Atlantis is available in fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint pen modes.
The fountain pens are supplied with a 6 mm filigree steel nib (EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, Stub 1.5) and are cartridge powered.
